We are currently seeking a driven and relationship-focused Regional Sales Manager to strategically lead sales efforts across a portfolio of hotels within the Greater Tampa Bay area. This full-time, on-site role requires an experienced hospitality sales professional adept at building and sustaining strong client relationships, uncovering and developing new business opportunities, and effectively translating sales strategy into measurable revenue. The Regional Sales Manager will be instrumental in executing sales plans that enhance market share and drive profitability for multiple hotel properties. Responsibilities will include managing group, contract, transient, and catering sales, as well as prospective business development activities. Candidates must be prepared to travel up to 25 percent of the time, including occasional overnight stays, to engage clients and industry partners. Proficiency in hospitality sales software such as Delphi.fdc and brand-specific sales tools is essential to track and analyze sales performance and market trends. This role demands exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills alongside the ability to collaborate efficiently with hotel operations, revenue management, and brand sales teams. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of hospitality sales experience
- Proven experience managing sales for multiple hotel properties
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 suite
- Ability to work on-site in Greater Tampa Bay area
- Willingness to travel up to 25 percent including overnight stays
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- Three plus years of multi-hotel sales experience preferred
- Experience with major brands such as Marriott, Hilton, and IHG preferred
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple hotels’ sales and marketing efforts
- Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and OneNote
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and collaborate across departments
- Flexibility to meet with clients outside regular business hours
Job Duties
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue across assigned hotels
- Drive group, contract, transient, and catering business where applicable
- Prospect, solicit, and convert new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication
- Conduct site tours, digital presentations, and client meetings
- Partner with hotel operations, revenue management, and brand sales teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and local business opportunities
- Use Delphi.fdc and brand tools to track activity, accounts, and performance
- Support hotel teams through coaching, collaboration, and sales leadership
- Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, and sales meetings
