The role of Regional Sales Manager for the states of Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska is an exciting and critical position within WX Brands. This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary range between $120,000 and $133,000 annually. The position requires a strategic and experienced sales leader who will oversee a broad territory, managing distributor relationships and driving sales for national and private label wine brands. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive regional business plan in collaboration with the Sales Director, targeting account development and sales depletion objectives with a focus on margin profitability across each brand, SKU, and state. The role demands extensive travel within the territory to maintain strong distributor partnerships and effective execution of national account programs. Key responsibilities include managing distributor performance related to volume, merchandising, pricing, inventory, and internal controls while ensuring budget adherence and maximizing marketing fund utilization. The candidate must be adept at conducting market surveys, providing competitive insights, and managing a diverse portfolio of key accounts ranging from national chains to regional independents. Job Requirements
- Five+ years sales/marketing experience as a supplier within the region
- Extensive knowledge of the beverage alcohol market
- Proven success in wine/adult beverage industry sales management with experience in chain account channel
- Strong ability to influence others and close deals in a timely manner
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- High level of integrity and ability to build relationships
- Strategic and creative thinker with good judgment
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Effective industry relationships in all three tiers
- Good PC skills including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Proficiency in analyzing industry data including Nielsen, IRI, RAD, Scan
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent life experience
- Clean driving record, vehicle and insurance required
- Willing and able to travel frequently (50+% of time) including overnight stays
- Weekend and evening work as required

Job Duties
- Execute the regional business plan by working closely with distributors and key accounts in the assigned states
- Achieve annual depletion and accounts sold goals by brand
- Increase execution rates at the unit level on private label programs with national chains
- Interface with distributor partners on strategic objectives for our brands
- Communicate with RSD on, and properly execute, pricing and programming to achieve distribution objectives and margin standards
- Implement promotional and merchandising campaigns & incentives to drive sales
- Manage depletion allowances and marketing funds to maximize results while maintaining budget
- Provide RSD with accurate and timely information & reporting necessary to manage the business unit and improve on regional business plans
- Establish strong sales presence within territory and conduct regular distributor meetings to ensure brand priorities and initiatives are maintained in key states
- Manage a list of key accounts including national/regional chains and key independents
- Survey accounts and provide feedback on execution and competitive activity
- Manage all aspects of the WX distributor relationship including volume, merchandising activity, pricing, inventory management, internal controls/administration, SKU level budget and forecast
- Maintain spending control vs. budget
- Forecast regional sales by state and SKU
- Conduct in-market activities such as survey, work-with, education training, and events
- Participate in distributor ride-withs and sales meetings
- Conduct quarterly/monthly business reviews.
