The role available is a Territory Sales Executive position that reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who has a passion for building and growing a business within the multifamily real estate market. The Territory Sales Executive will be responsible for owning a designated territory, generating new business opportunities, and expanding Valet Living’s footprint by promoting the company’s resident-facing amenities. The position focuses exclusively on new business development, requiring the candidate to engage with senior leaders such as community managers, regional managers, property owners, asset managers, and management groups. This role demands a consultative sales approach, with an ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

The compensation package for this role is competitive and performance-driven. The On-Target Earnings (OTE) range from $117,000 to $144,000 annually, while the base salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000. The commission structure is uncapped, allowing high performers to maximize their earnings potential. Additional financial incentives include a monthly ramp-up guarantee, a bi-weekly fixed auto allowance, and mileage reimbursement. The work environment is blended, with the role being both field-based and remote, involving up to 70% travel within the assigned territory. This setup allows for a flexible yet dynamic sales lifestyle suited for ambitious sales professionals.

This position offers the chance to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies, rapidly build a robust sales pipeline through outbound prospecting and networking, and manage consultative sales processes from initial engagement through contract closure. The Territory Sales Executive will also collaborate closely with account management and operations teams to ensure client transitions are seamless and service delivery exceeds expectations. Meticulous use of Salesforce for CRM discipline is expected to maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility.

Preferred qualifications include a minimum of five years of B2B outside consultative sales experience, a consultative and growth-oriented mindset, and familiarity with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Challenger, Sandler, MEDDPICC, SPIN, or Value Selling. While prior multifamily industry experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory for the right candidate.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience
  • Minimum of five years of B2B outside consultative sales experience
  • Proven track record of new business development and closing deals
  • Strong consultative and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a high-performance environment
  • Experience with CRM tools, especially Salesforce
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% within the designated sales territory
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-savvy with strong organizational abilities

Job Duties

  • Own and grow a territory by executing a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to drive sustained revenue growth and increase market penetration
  • Develop new business by identifying, pursuing, and closing new opportunities through engagement with community managers, regional managers, property owners, asset managers, and management groups
  • Build and scale pipeline rapidly through outbound prospecting, industry networking, phone outreach, in-person and virtual meetings, and other lead generation strategies
  • Manage complex sales cycles by leading multi-stakeholder consultative sales processes, navigating decision-making structures, and tailoring solutions to client needs from initial engagement through contract execution
  • Position value and differentiate solutions by serving as a trusted subject-matter expert, clearly articulating Valet Living's value proposition, delivering compelling presentations, and differentiating solutions in a dynamic market
  • Support client transitions by partnering closely with Account Management and Operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs, clear expectations, and successful service launches for new clients
  • Maintain CRM discipline by ensuring accurate documentation, forecasting, and pipeline visibility through consistent use of Salesforce
  • Invest in development through ongoing professional development, coaching, and skill-building while staying current on industry trends and best practices
