The role of the Territory Sales Representative at Valet Living is a pivotal position focused on new business development within a designated territory. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, this role involves owning the territory, executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies, and driving sustained revenue growth. As a Territory Sales Representative, you will promote Valet Living's suite of resident-facing amenities and services to multifamily communities. The position requires engaging high-level decision-makers such as senior leaders, asset managers, and property owners to generate, develop, and close new business opportunities. You will be responsible for rapidly building and scaling a sales pipeline through diverse lead generation techniques including outbound prospecting, industry networking, and virtual or in-person meetings.

This role is designed for a motivated, results-driven sales professional who excels in a high-performance environment. Ideal candidates possess a consultative sales approach, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders. The position offers a competitive compensation package with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $117,000 to $144,000 per year, a salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, and an uncapped monthly commission structure. Additional benefits include a monthly ramp-up guarantee during the onboarding period, bi-weekly auto allowance and mileage reimbursement, and a blended field-based and remote work environment with up to 70% travel within your territory.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of B2B outside sales experience
  • Proven success in new business development
  • Strong consultative selling skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to travel up to 70% within the territory
  • Proficiency with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of B2B outside consultative sales experience
  • Proven track record of closing new business and managing long sales cycles
  • Consultative sales expertise with strong persuasion, negotiation, and influence skills
  • Experience with sales methodologies such as Miller Heiman, Challenger, Sandler, MEDDPICC, SPIN, or Value Selling
  • Tech-savvy with preferred Salesforce experience and strong organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work autonomously
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Valid driver's license for frequent travel within the designated market

Job Duties

  • Own and grow a territory by executing comprehensive go-to-market strategies
  • Develop new business by identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities with community managers, regional managers, property owners, asset managers, and management groups
  • Build and scale a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, phone outreach, in-person and virtual meetings, and other lead generation tactics
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders with consultative sales approaches
  • Position and differentiate Valet Living's value proposition through compelling presentations and trusted subject-matter expertise
  • Support client transitions by collaborating with account management and operations for smooth handoffs and successful launches
  • Maintain CRM discipline through accurate documentation, forecasting, and pipeline visibility using Salesforce
  • Invest in personal development and coaching while staying current with industry trends and sales best practices
