Job Description
The Aubuchon Company is a well-established fourth-generation family-owned business with over 100 retail locations, known for its unique blend of being a "mom and pop" store while maintaining a competitive edge in the modern retail marketplace. Founded on strong family values and a commitment to community, The Aubuchon Company embraces diversity, passion, and ambition among its team members, referring to the outstanding customer experience they create as "The Aubuchon Difference." This dedication to quality and customer loyalty has propelled the company to be one of the most respected names in the hardware retail industry today. They are a high-performing company that values both tradition and innovation, creating a strong and supportive workplace culture where employees are encouraged to grow and succeed together.
The Aubuchon Company is currently seeking a Regional Marketing Coordinator to join their dynamic marketing team on a full-time basis. This role offers a salary range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour and provides excellent career growth opportunities in a company that values passion, creativity, and community connection. As a Regional Marketing Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind bringing localized marketing strategies to life within your designated region. Your primary focus will be to plan and execute community events, bolster store-level marketing capabilities, and amplify brand presence through engaging content and social media management.
You will work closely with store leaders and teams to organize a diverse array of events, ranging from grand openings and fundraisers to seasonal campaigns and weekly regional activations. This hands-on position requires you to be creative and energetic, juggling multiple priorities while keeping a consistent event cadence that engages local communities and supports the company's sales goals and traffic-driving initiatives. Your expertise in multimedia content creation — including photos, videos, and written copy — will help strengthen the local brand image, making the Aubuchon orange heart a recognizable symbol in every neighborhood.
In addition to event planning, the role involves managing digital marketing tools like SOCi, where you will upload, edit, caption, and troubleshoot content, as well as coach store teams on best practices to enhance social media performance. You will monitor online customer reviews and ratings, crafting thoughtful responses and escalating sensitive feedback when necessary to maintain the company’s positive reputation. Moreover, this role encourages mentorship, where you will identify and nurture store-based marketing talent to help build the company’s future marketing pipeline.
Ideal candidates are self-starters with a keen eye for design and branding, comfortable both behind a camera and in front of store teams. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for social media and community engagement are essential. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly across the region complete the profile. By joining The Aubuchon Company, you not only contribute to a beloved family business but also get to be part of a team that values creativity, growth, and making a real difference in the communities it serves.
