The Regional Dining Manager role at Dial Senior Living is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing dining operations across multiple communities within a designated region. This role ensures that the dining programs consistently meet the company’s standards for quality, compliance, and resident satisfaction. The Regional Dining Manager plays a critical role in supporting community teams by providing training, mentoring, and operational guidance to Dining Directors, Executive Chefs, and other dining staff. Collaborating closely with community leadership, particularly Executive Directors, this position works to create and sustain exceptional dining experiences that enhance resident enjoyment and contribute to the overall positive culture of Dial Senior Living communities.
This position involves regular visits to communities to conduct audits and performance reviews, ensuring that food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance are meticulously maintained in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements. In addition to maintaining compliance, the Regional Dining Manager helps manage food and supply costs, supporting initiatives to meet financial goals and optimize budgetary efficiency. The role contributes to culinary innovation through recipe development and menu planning, aligning offerings with the Dial Senior Living brand to provide diverse, nutritious, and appealing meal options.
Leadership and training are fundamental aspects of the role, with a focus on fostering teamwork, hospitality, safety, and culinary excellence among dining teams. The Regional Dining Manager is also instrumental in new community openings and dining program rollouts, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent program execution. Upholding Dial Senior Living’s mission, vision, and values, this role exemplifies strong judgement and creative problem-solving abilities, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all community interactions.
This full-time position demands extensive experience in food service leadership, culinary expertise, and a passion for serving seniors. The Regional Dining Manager must demonstrate strong organizational skills, budget management capability, and proficiency with technology systems used in operations. A degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred, alongside a solid background in food safety and sanitation standards. This role requires travel within the assigned region to effectively support multiple communities, making it well-suited for dynamic leaders committed to quality and innovation in senior living dining services.

Job Requirements
- 5+ years experience of progressive leadership in food service
- Promote teamwork in providing services to residents
- Operation of kitchen appliances dishwasher garbage disposal microwave coffee maker ice machine blender food processor meat slicer mixer etc.
- Ability to travel throughout assigned region
Job Qualifications
- Degree in culinary arts hospitality management or related field
- Experience and discipline in creating fine food for a multitude of palettes
- Excellent leadership coaching and team development skills
- Strong organizational analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to manage budgets control costs and support operational performance
- Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn systems used within the company
- Knowledge of state and local food code and health code regulations with an overall keen sense of sanitation and food safety
Job Duties
- Provide leadership and oversight for dining services across assigned region ensuring execution of Dial dining program standards
- Conduct regular site visits audits and performance reviews of community dining programs
- Train mentor and support Dining Directors Executive Chefs Front of House Managers and other dining staff
- Collaborate with community Executive Director to hire and retain high-performing dining leadership
- Ensure compliance with all federal state and local food and safety sanitation regulations
- Monitor food and supply costs and assist with strategies to meet budget and financial goals
- Support new community openings transitions and dining program rollouts
