Job Description
Dial Senior Living is a respected leader in the senior living industry, known for providing compassionate and comprehensive care in its communities. The company emphasizes a resident-centered approach, ensuring that every aspect of its service - from dining to healthcare - promotes comfort, dignity, and an enhanced quality of life for seniors. With a commitment to excellence, Dial Senior Living consistently strives to maintain high standards across its portfolio of communities through innovative programs, dedicated staff, and a supportive environment. As a senior living operator, the company combines hospitality, healthcare, and community living to create environments where seniors thrive socially, emotionally, and physically.
The Regional Dining Manager role is a critical leadership position within Dial Senior Living, dedicated to overseeing the dining experience across multiple communities within an assigned region. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a passion for culinary excellence, leadership, and senior living. The manager will provide strategic oversight and operational support to ensure that dining services not only meet but exceed the quality standards and compliance requirements set by the company and regulatory bodies. A strong focus is placed on training and mentoring dining teams, including Dining Directors, Executive Chefs, and front-of-house staff, to foster a culture of hospitality and culinary innovation that is aligned with the company’s mission and values.
In this role, the Regional Dining Manager will conduct regular site visits to evaluate dining operations, food safety, and customer service, leveraging audits and performance reviews to drive continuous improvement. They will collaborate closely with community leadership, including Executive Directors, to recruit and retain skilled dining personnel and support new community openings and operational transitions. Managing budgets and controlling food and supply costs will be a key responsibility, alongside assisting with menu development and recipe design tailored to a diverse senior palate. The position requires excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of work.
The ideal candidate will bring over five years of progressive leadership experience in food service, complemented by a degree in culinary arts, hospitality management, or a related field. Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and commercial kitchen operations is essential. This role also requires strong computer skills and the ability to travel within the assigned region to provide hands-on support to community dining teams. Experience or interest in senior living or healthcare settings is highly preferred but not required, reflecting the company’s commitment to tailored, resident-focused dining programs. By joining Dial Senior Living as a Regional Dining Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing the dining experiences of seniors, contributing to their overall well-being and satisfaction, while advancing your career in a dynamic and meaningful industry.
