We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Regional Food Service Manager to join our team on a remote basis. This unique position offers the opportunity to operate independently while providing high-level operational oversight across multiple healthcare accounts. The successful candidate will report directly to the District Manager and will serve as a key multi-site operational leader responsible for supporting and overseeing Food Service Directors at several locations. This role demands a versatile leader able to travel between sites, step into operations as a relief leader, and function effectively in a remote capacity to support operational success.
As a Regional Food Service Manager, you will be instrumental in managing all aspects of food service operations including patient dining services, employee meal programs, and client catering initiatives. Your leadership will ensure compliance with healthcare standards, including The Joint Commission requirements, maintain operational consistency, and enhance overall program performance. While on-site, you will act as the senior operational leader responsible for daily operations, regulatory compliance, budget management, and team development. In your remote role, you will collaborate closely with Food Service Directors and corporate teams to support training programs, audit readiness, financial accountability, and operational initiatives.
This position suits a polished and articulate manager with deep expertise in healthcare food service management, including food production, labor and budget control, food safety protocols, compliance regulations, and employee training. The ideal candidate will demonstrate hands-on leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in hospitality management, nutrition, or related field preferred
- minimum of five years' experience in healthcare food service management
- proven ability to manage multiple sites
- knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
