Ruan is currently hiring Class A CDL Flex Drivers to support their dedicated customer base in multiple locations. This role is unique as it requires a flexible driving schedule; flex drivers cover multiple routes to fill in for vacations, absences, and other short-term needs. Due to the nature of the position, these drivers are required to travel extensively and must be based within 50 miles of a major airport to ensure availability for quick deployments. Flex drivers at Ruan operate late-model day cabs or sleeper trucks, depending on the assignment, hauling freight in various trailer types that include dry vans and reefers. Some assignments require using powerlift manual pallet jacks and may involve driver unloads.

This position offers an attractive yearly salary of $85,000 with weekly pay frequency. Flex drivers are paid $40 per hour, with an additional per diem of $25 per day when traveling. Ruan also covers essential travel expenses such as rental cars, fuel, and baggage fees, which makes the role financially beneficial for those who are comfortable with a mobile lifestyle. Flex drivers typically spend two to three weeks on the road, working six days per week, and averaging 50 to 60 hours weekly at their assigned locations.
