We are currently hiring a full-time Events Manager to lead our home show and local events program across five states. This is a key leadership role responsible for planning, managing, and executing a robust calendar of home shows, fairs, and other local events designed to generate high-quality leads for our sales team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in boosting the company’s presence in multiple markets, building strong community connections, and driving lead generation through strategic event participation.
In this role, you will oversee the selection and booking of events that attract the target audience of qualified homeowners, negotiate booths and sponsorship arrangements, and handle all event logistics including contracts, booth setup, displays, promotional materials, giveaways, and on-site service needs. You will lead on-site event execution, managing setup and teardown processes, and resolving issues in real time to ensure smooth event operations. As Events Manager, you will also recruit, schedule, and train event staff and brand ambassadors, guiding them on effective talking points and lead capture techniques.
A critical aspect of the role involves ensuring accurate and timely lead collection as well as the seamless handoff of leads to the sales team. You will monitor and report on event performance and return on investment (ROI), managing budgets and vendor relationships to keep events within financial and operational targets. This role requires frequent travel across Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Florida, including weekend and evening engagements, making it ideal for those who enjoy a dynamic and varied work schedule.

Job Requirements
- 3+ years in events, trade shows, or field marketing (home services or remodeling is a plus)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Confident communicator
- Experience with budgets, spreadsheets, and lead capture/CRM tools
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across multiple states, including weekends and evenings
- Physical ability to lift and move event materials up to 40-50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Plan and manage the annual calendar of home shows, fairs, and local events in MD, VA, WV, PA, and FL
- Research, select, and book events that attract qualified homeowners, negotiating booths and sponsorships
- Handle all event logistics including contracts, booth setup, displays, collateral, giveaways, and on-site services
- Lead on-site execution at key events, including setup/teardown and real-time problem solving
- Recruit, schedule, and coach event staff/brand ambassadors on talking points and lead capture
- Ensure accurate lead collection and timely handoff to sales
