The company has established a prominent reputation for excellence, reliability, and environmental responsibility, catering to a broad spectrum of customers worldwide, including contractors, architects, and engineers. MAPEI is committed to sustainable practices, rigorous quality standards, and continuous product development to meet evolving industry demands.
This opportunity invites experienced professionals to join MAPEI's Operations team as a Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager. In this critical leadership role, the chosen candidate will spearhead the EHS strategy across multiple manufacturing facilities within a specified region, aligning with corporate directives and operational objectives. The role demands a proactive approach to enhance the safety culture, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies including OSHA, EPA, DHS, and DOT, and lead the continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data-driven methods and industry best practices. The Regional EHS Manager will act as a key partner to manufacturing leadership, championing sustainability and safety protocols and embedding EHS principles into everyday business activities and capital projects.
The successful candidate will lead efforts to manage regulatory inspections, compliance audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses, providing clear direction on corrective actions and risk mitigation measures. This position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Engineering, Purchasing, Research & Development, Technical Service, and Quality departments to foster a unified approach to environmental and safety excellence. Additionally, the manager will support facility expansions, acquisitions, and process improvements by identifying and mitigating potential EHS risks, thereby safeguarding employees, assets, and the environment.
MAPEI values leadership development and employee engagement; hence, the Regional EHS Manager will mentor site EHS professionals while driving accountability and promoting a culture rooted in safety awareness and continuous improvement. Building and maintaining robust relationships with regulatory agencies and staying abreast of emerging regulations and industry trends are essential components of this role.
This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary and benefits package, emphasizing work-life balance and professional growth. Candidates can expect to be a pivotal force in shaping the environmental, health, and safety landscape within a respected global manufacturer, making a tangible impact on the well-being of employees and the community.
