The Regional Director of Operations role at Sagemont Hotels is a pivotal leadership position responsible for directing the operational and strategic aspects of multiple select service hotel properties. This full-time position is based at the Loma Linda Campus and requires frequent travel to various hotel locations to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with company objectives. The Regional Director of Operations acts as the critical liaison between corporate leadership and individual hotel management teams, driving accountability, consistency, and performance across the portfolio. The role demands a dynamic leader who can manage financial results through budget oversight and profit and loss statement analysis while maintaining high standards of guest service and operational excellence.
This position requires an experienced hospitality professional with a minimum of seven years in multi-unit hotel management, with prior exposure to major brands like Marriott, Hilton, and IHG select service hotels. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in coaching and developing general managers and property leaders, promoting a culture of teamwork and guest-first service. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or business management

- Oversee daily operations and financial performance of assigned hotels
- ensure compliance with brand standards, corporate SOPs, and ownership objectives
- review P&L statements, budgets, and forecasts to identify opportunities for improvement
- coach and develop General Managers and property leaders to achieve excellence
- promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest-first service
- partner with the President of Hotels and Corporate Directors to implement strategic initiatives
- monitor key performance indicators (KPI) for revenue, guest service, and labor management
- conduct regular property visits, audits, and leadership reviews
- support transitions, acquisitions, and openings within assigned regions
