We are currently seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead multiple branch locations and inspire a culture focused on safety, accountability, and continuous process improvement. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker and effective communicator who excels at managing diverse teams and operational demands across various sites. The Regional Director of Operations will oversee daily branch operations to guarantee consistent execution of company standards and exceptional service delivery. This position plays a critical role in driving financial performance through budget management, forecasting, and cost control while also supporting employee engagement and talent development. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Finance to align operational goals with broader business objectives. They will be responsible for maintaining facilities, fleet, inventory, and equipment to uphold safety and efficiency standards. As a key leader, the Regional Director will champion workplace safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory bodies, and lead organizational change initiatives that propel the company forward.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, supply chain, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience
  • Experience leading multiple locations or regional operations
  • Demonstrated success managing P&L performance, budgets, and operational metrics
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead through change
  • Proficiency with business systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • Background in industrial distribution, manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or a related industry (preferred)

Job Duties

  • Lead and develop branch leadership teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
  • Oversee daily operations across multiple locations to ensure consistent execution of company standards and service expectations
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, reduce costs, and improve operational efficiency
  • Champion workplace safety and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to support business objectives
  • Manage regional operating budgets, P&L performance, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
  • Monitor operational KPIs and implement action plans to achieve performance goals
  • Ensure facilities, fleet, inventory, and equipment are maintained to support safe and efficient operations
  • Develop talent through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and employee development
  • Lead the implementation of corporate initiatives and serve as a champion for organizational change
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
