We are a rapidly growing, privately held hotel management company headquartered in San Diego, California, specializing in select-service hotels. Our company manages a diverse portfolio of more than 30 properties across California, including well-known top-tier brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, and more. The Regional Director of Operations role is vital to our company's continued success and expansion. This senior leadership position involves overseeing the operational performance of multiple select-service hotel properties. The Regional Director will be responsible for driving strategic alignment, coaching and developing General Managers and their teams, and ensuring the highest standards in guest satisfaction, revenue generation, and operational efficiency. This role demands a hands-on, experienced leader with the ability to identify challenges quickly and implement effective, scalable solutions across various hotel functions. As part of our dynamic leadership team, the incumbent will also collaborate closely with departments such as Sales, Revenue Management, Human Resources, and Accounting to ensure alignment with company-wide goals and superior operational outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior multi-property operations role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of improving operational KPIs such as guest satisfaction and financial performance
  • Skilled in leadership development and team management
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operational systems and financial metrics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and hospitality technology
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and relationship-building capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in a senior multi-property operations role within the hospitality industry, preferably with branded select-service hotels
  • Demonstrated success in improving quality assurance scores, guest satisfaction, RevPAR, and team engagement
  • Proven ability to lead through influence, develop talent, and foster a culture of excellence
  • Deep understanding of hotel operations, systems, and financial performance metrics
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and commonly used hotel systems
  • Effective communicator with the ability to lead meetings, deliver impactful training, and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • High standards of integrity, accountability, and relationship building

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple select-service hotels, identifying problem areas and implementing efficient, scalable solutions and best practices
  • Coach, mentor, and develop General Managers and their teams, ensuring alignment with operational standards and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional service
  • Analyze and manage KPIs including quality assurance, guest satisfaction scores, associate engagement, RevPAR and GOP, revenue and cost controls
  • Partner closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Human Resources, and Accounting to ensure strategic goals are met across departments and properties
  • Provide interim on-site leadership at properties when needed and manage special projects related to growth and operational transformation
  • Lead monthly General Manager meetings and facilitate leadership training sessions to align teams with company priorities and encourage knowledge-sharing
