Job Description

LCS is a distinguished leader in senior living, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors through exceptional community experiences. As a progressive and growing organization, LCS emphasizes a culture built on principles of integrity, honesty, and transparency, with a strong commitment to serving the senior community. Employees at LCS find an inclusive and collaborative workplace where they can grow professionally, serve the community, and contribute meaningfully to the lives of seniors. Recognized as a Top Workplace in the USA and Iowa, LCS promotes volunteer activities, committee involvement, and team collaboration within innovative workspaces. The company supports ongoing career development and advancement opportunities while maintaining an active role in charity and community involvement.

The Regional Director, Food & Beverage role at LCS is a senior leadership position responsible for transforming the dining and hospitality experience across a portfolio of LCS senior living communities. This role goes beyond traditional dining management to redefine food and beverage as a defining element of the resident lifestyle, comparable to luxury hotels and destination resorts. It requires a visionary leader who focuses on innovation, brand distinction, and cultivating an exceptional service culture. The Regional Director shapes a hospitality-first environment that prioritizes personalized and memorable experiences while ensuring operational excellence and strong financial performance.

Key responsibilities include defining and championing a compelling food and beverage vision aligned with luxury standards and the LCS brand promise. The role oversees culinary innovation by introducing distinctive, restaurant-quality dining concepts that incorporate modern trends, global influences, and wellness-focused nutrition. This leader also manages quality assurance processes to uphold rigorous culinary and service standards across all communities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those pertinent to healthcare and food safety.

Talent acquisition and development play a central role, with the Regional Director tasked with attracting and mentoring top hospitality professionals experienced in luxury environments. This includes fostering a culture of excellence grounded in high-touch, personalized resident engagement and continuous training. Financial leadership responsibilities involve managing complex Profit & Loss statements, optimizing costs, driving revenue initiatives, and maintaining procurement strategies that deliver premium quality while maximizing value.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Extensive experience in luxury hospitality, multi-unit food and beverage operations, and senior living or healthcare dining is essential. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of healthcare compliance standards, including CMS guidelines, and possess the ability to lead teams through regulatory audits successfully. Exceptional leadership presence and the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels are critical for success in this role.

This position offers an estimated salary range of $113,000 to $141,000 and involves significant travel of 50-75% to various community locations. LCS values diverse talents and experiences, requiring a post-offer background check including references. As an equal opportunity employer, LCS ensures a welcoming and supportive work environment for all employees, committed to enriching senior living through innovative hospitality.
