Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in hotel management, hospitality, Food & Beverage, or culinary
  • Ability to travel extensively (60-80%) to support property visits, training, and initiatives
  • Service-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working with cross-brand and cross-regional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in Food & Beverage hotel and restaurant operations or related business function
  • Minimum of 5 years as director overseeing food and beverage department with signature restaurants and bars
  • Experience in at least four different restaurants and bars
  • Strong communication, presentation, and training abilities
  • Skilled at building relationships and working with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Demonstrates agile leadership, adaptability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Self-starter thriving in independent and cross-functional environments
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with ability to translate insights into action
  • Proficient with Food & Beverage technology, digital platforms, and data-driven decision making
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in financial systems, forecasting, and P&L management
  • Advanced Excel proficiency
  • Proficient in standard business software, financial reporting tools, and POS systems
  • Active use and up-to-date understanding of AI

Job Duties

  • Provide oversight and guidance to ensure hotels maintain operational readiness and service excellence
  • Work cross-functionally with regional support leadership in Culinary, Finance, HR, Brand, Design, Marketing, and IT
  • Drive consistency and execution of Food & Beverage initiatives across all brands and properties
  • Participate in property visits and consulting assignments
  • Monitor operational, purchasing, and menu programming standards and take corrective action as needed
  • Analyze products and ensure team performance meets market needs
  • Analyze competitor products and ensure staff awareness of trends
  • Manage purchasing, quality, and cost control to maximize profit and quality
  • Attend meetings and develop material for Brand Standard Programs updates
  • Lead food & beverage proformas, consulting visits, and pilot project implementations
  • Monitor hotel openings and Food & Beverage projects with Openings and Transitions Team
  • Support openings, renovations, and transitions
  • Review layout and FF&E for design efficiency and compliance
  • Act as subject matter expert on POS technology and provide strategic recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement through technology and data insights
  • Develop and enhance digital tools for forecasting and strategic planning
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies, equipment, sustainability opportunities, and hospitality trends
  • Recommend and assist in selection of FOH and kitchen management personnel
  • Oversee training, development, mentoring, and succession planning for FOH and kitchen leaders
  • Conduct training needs analyses and develop property-specific learning pathways
  • Implement AI-driven Food & Beverage training programs
  • Develop and monitor brand-level Food & Beverage KPIs
  • Lead data collection and analysis of regional hotel portfolio
  • Report on guest experience, management performance, marketing initiatives, and financial performance
  • Support underperforming properties
  • Benchmark outlet performance and identify optimization opportunities using AI tools
  • Guide field teams on processes, performance strategies, and brand standards
  • Provide insights and KPI reporting to senior leadership
  • Oversee Food & Beverage audit processes and corrective actions
  • Monitor compliance with food safety, sanitation, and brand standards
  • Analyze audit data and provide actionable leadership insights
