MENTOR Adult Day Health, a proud member of the Sevita family, offers specialized day programs tailored for elders who have complex medical or rehabilitative needs. This innovative approach enables seniors to receive quality healthcare services while remaining active members of their communities and living in the comfort of their own homes. MENTOR’s program is uniquely staffed by qualified and experienced licensed nurses and caregivers, all of whom are trained to provide personalized assistance to each individual participant, ensuring their well-being and dignity are maintained. The emphasis on compassionate, individualized care makes MENTOR an invaluable resource for families seeking reliable adult day health services that promote independence and quality of life for their loved ones.
Sevita, the parent organization of MENTOR Adult Day Health, is a nationally recognized leader in home- and community-based specialized health care. With a mission rooted in empowering individuals to live fuller, more independent lives, Sevita delivers high-quality, person-centered services to individuals with physical, intellectual, and behavioral challenges. Over its 50-year history, Sevita has built a nationwide presence with a dedicated workforce of approximately 40,000 team members supporting 50,000 individuals annually. This commitment to excellence and innovation places Sevita and its subsidiaries like MENTOR at the forefront of healthcare services for vulnerable populations.
The role of Regional Director for Adult Day Health Centers in Western Massachusetts (covering areas such as Springfield and Worcester) offers a unique leadership opportunity for experienced healthcare professionals passionate about overseeing multi-site operations. This full-time, hybrid, exempt position is complemented by an attractive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, including mileage reimbursement and eligibility for bonuses, making it a competitive leadership role in the healthcare sector.
As Regional Director, the incumbent will lead operations across nine Adult Day Health centers. This leadership role demands strategic vision and operational excellence in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care while fostering a strong team culture and supporting growth initiatives. The Regional Director will be responsible for providing operational oversight, supervising Program Directors and regional teams, and driving key strategic initiatives aligned with both organizational and state healthcare goals. A crucial aspect of the role involves maintaining robust quality assurance programs, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement measures to meet evolving healthcare standards.
Additionally, the Regional Director will oversee financial performance by managing budgeting processes, monitoring profit and loss statements, and implementing cost management strategies to optimize operational efficiency. Recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention also fall under the director’s purview, requiring close collaboration with Talent Acquisition teams. The role demands a proactive approach to employee development, engagement, and performance management to cultivate a motivated and competent workforce.
The successful candidate must be prepared for regular travel within the region and possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Superior leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential to navigate the complexities of multi-site management and to build strong relationships with community partners, referral sources, and stakeholders. This role offers an exceptional platform to influence healthcare delivery in adult day health settings while contributing to the mission-driven culture of Sevita and MENTOR Adult Day Health.
