With a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents, Harmony Senior Services operates communities that blend compassionate care, supportive environments, and a wide range of amenities tailored to meet the unique needs of older adults. The organization places a strong emphasis on staff development, resident satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards to ensure a safe, welcoming, and nurturing atmosphere for its residents.

The Regional Dining Services Specialist position plays a pivotal role within Harmony Senior Services, overseeing the food service operations across multiple senior living communities. This role entails comprehensive management responsibilities, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating dining services staff to ensure that meal preparation and service meet or exceed established standards. The specialist is also a key mentor and support for the Dining Services Directors in assigned communities, providing guidance to uphold quality and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This position demands a professional who is well-versed in health and safety regulations, nutritional needs of senior residents, and budgeting for food services.

Additionally, the Regional Dining Services Specialist assists in the hiring of new Dining Services Directors, facilitating onboarding and ongoing training to foster a high-performing dining team. In instances of staff absences, the specialist steps in to support the team, ensuring continuous and seamless dining services. Another critical responsibility involves conducting quarterly audits to verify adherence to company, state, and federal standards, maintaining a consistently high level of service and sanitation.

Key aspects of this role include developing menus tailored to the specific dietary requirements of residents, managing food portion controls, overseeing inventory and supply orders, and maintaining sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment. The specialist also leads staff educational sessions, conducts quality control checks, and coordinates with marketing and maintenance teams to promote and support dining services effectively. Excellent customer service skills are essential, as the position involves frequent interaction with residents, their families, staff, and visitors.

Harmony Senior Services offers a full-time employment opportunity with a commitment to work-life balance, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits packages. This role provides a career path with opportunities for training, development, and advancement within a supportive work environment dedicated to serving senior communities with compassion and professionalism.
