The CDL-A Driver position at Performance Foodservice plays a vital role in the nation’s food supply chain by ensuring timely and secure delivery of food and related products across regional routes. Drivers are typically scheduled for 4-5 days per week, starting their shifts between 11 PM and 3 AM, with a 5-week paid training program based in Portland to prepare them thoroughly. The role offers an average salary between $90,000 and $100,000 and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus with specific terms and eligibility. As the face of the company, CDL-A Drivers build strong, lasting relationships with customers and vendors by providing professional and reliable service.

In this role, drivers operate tractor trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, including local, over-the-road, shuttle, overnight, and drop-and-drive assignments.
