This position is a Class A Tractor-Trailer Driver role within the trucking sector of Frito-Lay. In addition to driving, responsibilities include manual loading and unloading of trailers, sometimes involving palletized goods or the use of two-wheelers, in a process that often requires lifting items overhead. Drivers must complete pre- and post-trip inspections of their vehicles and keep accurate logs and paperwork regarding deliveries, including obtaining signatures, reviewing invoices, and manifests. Use of electronic logging devices for recording hours of service is standard. Interaction with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch personnel is a routine part of the job, requiring excellent communication skills.
