The role of Regional Chef at Eurest is a leadership position that entails comprehensive responsibility for culinary innovation, program implementation, and staff development within a specified territory. The Regional Chef collaborates closely with the leadership team to plan, implement, and support new food concepts and programs, ensuring that these initiatives meet high culinary standards and align with the company’s vision of excellence. This position is integral to research, testing, development, documentation, training, and monitoring of new dishes and food programs. Additionally, the Regional Chef plays a critical role in new facility design and rollout, menu creation, cost management, and maintaining consistent culinary standards across all operations.

Successful candidates for this role will be proficient in orienting and mentoring chefs within their territory, supporting new account openings or renovations, and providing ongoing culinary leadership. This position demands excellent communication skills, a thorough understanding of culinary standards, and the ability to work effectively in regulatory environments. The Regional Chef also ensures the accuracy and timeliness of reporting, compliance with company policies, and the fostering of ownership attributes that drive quality and service excellence at all customer touchpoints. Given the travel requirement of approximately 75%, this role calls for a high level of flexibility and dedication.

Eurest offers this position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $135,000 annually, supplemented by a 30% bonus eligibility, reflecting the company’s commitment to rewarding high performance. Job Requirements

  • Culinary arts degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of five years progressive food service production management experience
  • Multi-unit management experience preferred
  • Serv-Safe certification required
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized software
  • Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a regulatory environment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary arts degree from a recognized culinary school or equivalent experience
  • Five years of progressive food service production management experience
  • Previous multi-unit experience preferred
  • Serv-Safe certification
  • Must be computer literate able to utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Webtrition software packages
  • Certified executive chef an added plus

Job Duties

  • Orientates new chefs within their respective core culinary standards and established food programs
  • Maintains all culinary programs and standards in their home account to the level of Culinary Center for Excellence
  • Provides support for new account openings and/or renovations within the territory
  • Provides culinary leadership to chefs within the respective territory
  • Assists with training, coaching, and development of culinary personnel within assigned territory
  • Completes all required reports, logs, and core culinary reviews in a timely manner
  • Communicates effectively with Corporate Executive Chef, Regional Director of Operations, and unit level chefs via email, conference calls, etc
