The role of the Regional Chef at Legends Global is a vital position that directly impacts culinary operations across multiple venues within a specified region. The Regional Chef is responsible for ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, proper processes, and sanitation in all culinary offerings. This role also supports the implementation of high culinary standards and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate the food experience in the venues served. The Regional Chef works closely with regional management teams to maintain operational excellence and to support events as needed, including headline performances and VIP operational requirements.
Key responsibilities include enforcing strict compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) food safety programs to ensure all venues meet rigorous safety and sanitation standards. The chef will also contribute to the ongoing development of Legends’ culinary programs, including recipe build sheets and specifications, ensuring consistency and superior quality across locations. Supporting multi-unit operations requires flexibility, leadership, and effective communication to gain credibility and influence kitchen and operations personnel.
Working at the highest level of culinary standards, the Regional Chef will train and develop staff throughout the region, providing coaching and mentoring to improve culinary skills and operational performance. A comprehensive understanding of food cost control and current culinary trends is essential to maintaining a balanced approach to culinary innovation and budget adherence. The candidate must be motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple venues and projects simultaneously. Travel is required up to 50% of the year, supporting new business transitions, venue openings, and major operational initiatives. This hybrid, primarily remote role offers a competitive salary in the $180,000 to $190,000 range, plus bonus potential, and a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and a 401(k) plan.

Job Requirements
- Must have a degree or certification from an accredited culinary arts institute
- apprenticeship certification from the American Culinary Federation
- experience in managing multi-unit locations
- knowledge of kitchen sanitation and operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment
- ServSafe Certification
- International Food Safety Council certification
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- willingness to travel extensively including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Insure full compliance and effectiveness of the HACCP (Food Safety) program
