The Regional Chef role at Legends Global is a leadership position tasked with ensuring food quality, presentation, processes, and sanitation standards across multiple venues in the assigned region. This role plays a crucial part in supporting and implementing culinary programs that elevate the company’s food offerings. The Regional Chef will work closely with the Regional Manager and other operational teams to achieve culinary operational excellence. Responsibilities include full compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) food safety standards, menu planning, food cost control, and training culinary staff to uphold the highest standards. The position requires a self-motivated, detail-oriented leader who stays abreast of food industry trends and demonstrates the ability to manage multiple properties and projects concurrently. Reporting lines include direct support of events when necessary, ensuring consistent culinary execution whether for public or VIP operations. This role demands excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to influence and work collaboratively with operations personnel to enforce standards and improve culinary performance.
This is a hybrid/remote position with frequent travel—up to 50% annually—to various venues across multiple states. Travel increases during transitions, openings, and major operational initiatives. Legends Global offers a competitive salary range between $180,000 to $190,000, with bonus potential. Job Requirements
- Degree or certification from an accredited culinary arts institute or apprenticeship certification from the American Culinary Federation
- experience managing multiple units
- strong supervisory and leadership skills
- knowledge of kitchen sanitation and equipment operation
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent
- flexible to travel up to 50% including nights, weekends, and holidays
- excellent communication skills
- highly organized and detail-oriented
- ability to multitask and work independently
- willingness for hands-on support at venues when required
Job Qualifications
- Degree or certification from an accredited culinary arts institute or apprenticeship certification from the American Culinary Federation

- good written and verbal managerial communication and customer service skills

- ServSafe Certification, International Food Safety Council

Job Duties
- Ensure full compliance and effectiveness of the HACCP (Food Safety) program
- contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of Legends Culinary Programs, Build Sheets and Specifications
- coordinate and work with the Regional Manager to achieve culinary operational excellence
- coordinate support for events as needed
- assess food production and quality standards accurately
- work at a high level of culinary standards and train others to achieve the same
- gain respect and credibility to influence operations personnel and enforce standards
- maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills
- apply expert knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices to identify and correct operational problems
- plan and execute menus for all levels of events and VIP operations
- stay self-motivated to keep updated on food trends and industry changes
- manage food cost control components comprehensively
- develop and support team members in improving culinary skills and work performance
- manage multiple properties and projects effectively
