Job Requirements

  • experience as a cook or related role
  • knowledge of food preparation principles
  • knowledge of cooking methods
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ability to acquire food safety certification
  • basic math and counting skills
  • good interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing

  • knowledge of various cooking methods
  • understanding of food safety regulations including handling and storage
  • ability to acquire food safety certification
  • basic math and counting skills
  • strong interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to perform physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing

Job Duties

  • prepare food following standardized recipes and production instructions
  • ready the workstation with necessary tools and ingredients
  • measure, weigh, blend, cut, trim, and peel food items
  • safely use utensils including knives
  • operate appliances such as ovens, cookers, mixers
  • use baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming methods
  • portion cuisine following regulations
  • maintain food quality and safety through proper storage
  • uphold sanitation standards of work areas and utensils
  • deliver excellent customer service with a cheerful attitude
  • comply with safety and sanitation protocols
  • maintain safety measures for organizational resources
