Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or related role required
  • Knowledge of food preparation principles and cooking methods
  • Understanding of food safety regulations
  • Ability to obtain food safety certification
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods

Job Qualifications

  • Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role required
  • Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
  • Ability to acquire food safety certification
  • Basic math and counting skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing

Job Duties

  • Follow production instructions and standardized recipes to prepare diverse dishes
  • Ready workstations with necessary tools and ingredients
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, blending, cutting, trimming, and peeling
  • Safely use utensils including knives and operate kitchen appliances such as ovens and mixers
  • Cook using different methods like baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
  • Portion and enhance cuisine according to established guidelines
  • Maintain food quality and safety through proper storage and sanitation
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, utensils and equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service with a cheerful, approachable attitude
  • Adhere to safety protocols and food safety standards
