Job Description

Pioneer Transportation and Logistics LLC is a dedicated Amazon Logistics Freight Partner operating in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) market. As a local transportation company, Pioneer Transportation provides delivery services that focus on safety, integrity, teamwork, discipline, accountability, and long-term stability. The company prides itself on being a small business with the advantages of a larger corporation, partnering directly with Amazon to ensure timely and efficient delivery of customer orders. Pioneer Transportation operates with the latest Amazon branded equipment and technology, which allows drivers to perform their duties effectively and enjoy a modern working environment. Situated in the Fort Worth, Texas area, with a yard located in Haslet, TX, this company offers a regional driving opportunity that balances consistency and flexibility in work schedules.

The company is currently seeking Class-A CDL Regional Drivers to join its team as part of the Amazon Freight Partner Program. These drivers will play a crucial role in maintaining the company’s commitment to exceeding customer expectations by delivering freight safely and on time. Employment with Pioneer Transportation is as a W2 employee offering competitive pay starting at $22 per hour plus benefits. Drivers work primarily regional shifts of 3 to 4 days per week, with consistent weekly schedules that may include afternoon, overnight, evening, weekday, and weekend shifts. Night and weekend availability is a requirement, providing a structured but flexible schedule that accommodates home time after every two-day shift. The work involves running regional routes typically lasting 13 to 14 hours out, followed by a 10-hour break, and then 13 to 14 hours back.

This position offers several advantages, including new 2023/2024 sleeper tractors and a no-touch freight system, meaning drivers generally engage in drop and hook operations with no live loading. A minimum workweek of 39 hours is guaranteed with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime based on performance. Drivers will operate using state-of-the-art Amazon branded equipment and technology, which integrates electronic logging, communication, and routing platforms to enhance operational efficiency. This role is ideal for motivated and safety-conscious CDL drivers who appreciate a team-oriented, supportive, and respectful work environment.

Joining Pioneer Transportation means becoming part of a company that values not only the technical skills of its drivers but also their commitment to safety and integrity. The company fosters a rewarding fast-paced culture where drivers are recognized and rewarded based on their performance. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance available to all full-time employees, and opportunities for career growth within a trusted logistics partner. Prospective drivers should be prepared to meet several requirements, including holding a valid Class A Commercial Driver License issued in Texas, having at least two years of driving experience with a minimum of one year on a trailer tractor, maintaining a clean motor vehicle record, and being authorized to work in the United States. A background free of failed or refused drug/alcohol tests is critical, alongside passing a DOT medical exam and pre-employment drug screening.

Overall, this opportunity offers a solid balance of competitive pay, structured home time, a team-oriented culture, and the backing of a local company partnered with one of the largest logistics networks in the world, making it an excellent fit for experienced Class A CDL drivers in the Fort Worth area seeking long-term stability and growth.
