They specialize in providing efficient transportation solutions utilizing state-of-the-art Amazon branded equipment and technology to serve regional freight needs. Their commitment to safety, integrity, teamwork, discipline, accountability, and long-term employment stability sets the foundation for their operational success and positive company culture. This opportunity is ideal for professional drivers who value consistent weekly schedules that include afternoon, overnight, evening shifts, weekdays, and weekends, with mandatory nights and weekends shifts to optimize route efficiency and customer service. Drivers working with Pioneer Transportation will be directly employed by the company rather than Amazon, allowing for a close-knit team environment supported by competitive wages and an excellent benefits package. The pay rate starts at $22 per hour plus benefits, which includes paid time off and health insurance for full-time employees.
This role is designed for motivated and enthusiastic drivers who possess a minimum of two years of trucking experience, specifically at least one year operating a tractor-trailer. The drivers will run regional routes typically consisting of 13 to 14 hours out, followed by a 10-hour break, then 13 to 14 hours back. Pioneer Transportation offers a minimum of 39 work hours weekly spread across 3 to 4 days per week, with opportunities for overtime and additional shifts based on performance. These schedules not only promote work-life balance through guaranteed home time after every two-day shift but also accommodate professional growth and consistent earning potential. The company ensures the use of the latest equipment by providing brand new 2023/2024 sleeper tractors and promotes driver safety and job efficiency through the utilization of electronic logging, communication, and routing platforms. Additionally, the freight handling involves primarily no-touch freight operations such as drop and hook to load, minimizing manual labor and enhancing safety standards. Pioneer Transportation also encourages adaptability, requiring drivers to be proficient with handheld technology and GPS applications to seamlessly integrate with their logistic systems. Overall, this position offers a rewarding environment for CDL drivers who want a reliable, technology-forward career with substantial earning capacity and essential benefits in the thriving DFW logistics industry.
