The Regional Business Manager role at Nestle Professional Solutions is a pivotal position focused on new business development and achieving operator sales targets across a key geographic region, which includes Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting and executing annual business plans aligned with both Nestle's overall goals and specific customer strategies. The focus is heavily placed on acquiring new operator accounts while maintaining and strengthening existing relationships. This position requires significant travel, approximately 40-60% of the time, and is based out of Kansas City, Missouri. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 6+ years in direct outside sales, B2B or business development experience
- 6+ years experience in market planning, foodservice, hospitality, and/or beverage
- 5+ years negotiating complex agreements
- proven financial acumen including P&L responsibility
- ability to develop and implement business plans
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- willingness and ability to travel 40-60% within territory
- based in Kansas City, Missouri
- legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
Job Qualifications
- 6+ years in direct outside sales, B2B or business development experience
- 6+ years experience in market planning, foodservice, hospitality, and/or beverage
- 5+ years negotiating complex agreements
- astute financial awareness including P&L responsibility
- experience creating profitable customer bids and business plans
- ability to articulate business results with a deep knowledge of the role’s impact
- deep industry knowledge of key segments including business & industry, college & university, healthcare, lodging, military, travel, restaurant, retail and grocery
Job Duties
- drive new business acquisition across culinary and beverage portfolio within the territory
- align sales proposals and product solutions to operational needs of targeted operators
- meet or exceed all defined sales performance objectives and key metrics for the territory
- demonstrate transparency and accountability across all business activities with timely and accurate updates in salesforce
- build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to unlock new operator opportunities
- stay informed of customer-related developments including competitive activity, operational changes, financial shifts, and organizational updates
- translate strategic direction and category plans into actionable operator-level plans that drive incremental sales and territory growth
- collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, distribution, commercial development, and equipment/technical service teams
- lead execution of product priorities, new product introductions, and seasonal limited-time offers
- negotiate and execute contract agreements and initiatives to win new operator business
- assess and recommend optimal annual operator trade spend and administer exceedra contracts
- provide guidance to distributors on regional sales opportunities and ensure proper product stocking
- serve as a key resource to distributors within the territory
- manage full sales pipeline focusing on identifying gaps, evaluating opportunities, and implementing corrective action plans
