The role of Regional Barista Trainer at Pressed Cafe is a unique opportunity to join a passionate and fast-growing team dedicated to coffee as more than just a drink, but an experience. With 11 locations and growing, Pressed Cafe seeks someone who can ensure a consistent, welcoming, and exceptional coffee experience throughout all cafes. The Regional Barista Trainer will travel frequently between locations to provide hands-on training, coaching, and skill development for baristas.
In this influential role, the trainer will lead the onboarding of new hires and guide ongoing development to build a highly skilled, knowledgeable, and motivated team. Technical skills training will include espresso dialing, latte art, and precise drink execution. Beyond technical abilities, the trainer will coach teams on hospitality and guest experience standards, ensuring consistency and excellence. This role also involves supporting the introduction of new seasonal drink menus through hands-on training and the creation of comprehensive training materials.

Collaborating closely with the Lead Cafe Trainer, the individual will contribute to beverage menu development while partnering with management to identify evolving training needs and celebrate staff successes. - experience in a high-volume cafe environment

Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of barista experience
- leadership or training experience strongly preferred
- experience in a high-volume cafe environment
- strong coffee knowledge and a genuine passion for cafe culture
- excellent communication and coaching skills
- ability to give constructive feedback positively and supportively
- highly organized and adaptable
- willingness to travel frequently between locations
- bilingual Spanish/English is a strong plus
- a love for coffee, people, and creating memorable guest experiences
Job Duties
- Travel regularly between Pressed Cafe locations to train and coach baristas
- Lead new-hire onboarding and ongoing skill development
- Teach technical skills like dialing in espresso, latte art, and proper drink execution
- Coach teams on guest experience and hospitality standards
- Support the rollout of new seasonal drink menus with hands-on training and materials
- Create consistency by developing and maintaining training guides and resources
