Job Description

Xzilon is a dynamic subsidiary of American Guardian Warranty Services, Inc. (AGWS), which operates as an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds. With a firm presence in the automotive service industry, Xzilon specializes in delivering warranty solutions and comprehensive support services for dealerships and automotive businesses. As part of a respected network renowned for excellence and innovation, Xzilon is committed to providing its employees with a collaborative and growth-oriented environment that values professional development and work-life balance.

This opportunity is for a dedicated Regional Account Manager who will play a crucial role in fostering and expanding Xzilon's relationships across the Western United States. The role involves significant travel—approximately 75%—throughout the region, allowing the manager to engage directly with a range of customers, from established accounts to new prospects. This position is designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who possesses strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and a strategic mindset for business growth. The compensation package includes a competitive base salary ranging from $105,000 to $110,000 with an anticipated total income reaching around $150,000 when commission is factored in, reflecting the high level of responsibility and impact expected from the role.

As a Regional Account Manager, your responsibilities will include maintaining and servicing existing accounts to drive customer retention and satisfaction while actively seeking new business opportunities to increase revenue within your assigned territory. You will conduct product demonstrations and training sessions, ensuring that customers are well-informed about the benefits and features of Xzilon's offerings. The onboarding process provides a comprehensive introduction to company practices, including time spent at the AGWS office in Warrenville, IL, and field shadowing experienced representatives, equipping you with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in territory management, account growth, and business development, supported by automotive industry experience. A strong preference is given to those with finance and insurance (F&I) experience. Key attributes include excellent presentation capabilities, an ability to build strong, sustainable customer relationships, and an entrepreneurial spirit that drives independent work. Being highly organized with effective time management skills is essential, as is comfort with frequent travel across a wide geographic area. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other standard business technologies is required to facilitate reporting and communications. Moreover, candidates must hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, underscoring the travel-intensive nature of this position.

In summary, this role is ideally suited to a motivated professional seeking to leverage their automotive industry knowledge and sales expertise in a role that blends relationship management with strategic sales growth. As part of Xzilon and the broader AGWS family, you will find opportunities for personal advancement, supported by a culture that values health, well-being, and a positive work environment. This role offers a compelling blend of challenge, reward, and the chance to make a significant impact on the success of the company and the satisfaction of its customers.
