Job Description

Menasha Corporation is a well-established leader in the packaging and supply chain industry with a proud history dating back to 1849. Headquartered in Neenah, Wisconsin, this corporation operates through two primary businesses: Menasha Packaging and ORBIS Corporation. These companies excel in providing innovative corrugated and plastic packaging products and tailored supply chain services to major global brands across various industries such as food and beverage, health and beauty, pharmaceutical, industrial, automotive, and electronics. Employing over 7,500 people across 112 facilities in North America and Europe, Menasha Corporation is recognized for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and cutting-edge solutions. Menasha Packaging Company is the largest independent provider of packaging and supply chain service solutions in North America, offering design, printing, and fulfillment services for graphic packaging solutions, displays, and merchandising to over 1,800 brands both in-store and online. Meanwhile, ORBIS Corporation focuses on enhancing supply chains through reusable packaging products including containers, pallets, dunnage, bulk systems, and metal racks, aiming to optimize the flow of products, reduce costs, maximize profitability, and promote environmental sustainability. This dual business strategy showcases Menasha Corporation’s dedication to delivering sustainable and efficient packaging solutions that meet evolving customer demands globally.

The Regional Account Manager for ORBIS plays a critical role in driving the company’s growth and expanding its customer base within an assigned geographic territory that includes North and South Carolina, Virginia, and Maryland. This role requires a dynamic and proactive sales professional who can identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while cultivating strong relationships with existing customers. Based ideally in or near Charlotte, North Carolina, the Regional Account Manager will collaborate closely with both the sales team and product management to develop strategic plans, meet sales targets, and ensure superior customer service. This position entails a mix of strategic account planning, territory management, and active selling, focusing on industries such as food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and retail sectors.

This individual will be responsible for creating and executing territory strategies, maximizing sales revenues and margins, managing company assets efficiently, and broadening the company’s presence within existing and prospective accounts. Building lasting client relationships and effective team collaboration across different regions are vital components of the role. The position demands excellent communication skills, a consultative selling approach using IMPACT selling methodology, and the ability to manage time effectively under the pressures of frequent travel, which can be between 50 to 75 percent, including overnight stays and extended work hours. Menasha Corporation values integrity, customer focus, teamwork, and a long-term perspective, all of which are essential traits for the successful candidate. This is a full-time role requiring a valid driver’s license and a willingness to work outside normal business hours when necessary.

Menasha Corporation offers an engaging workplace where employees can contribute their insights and creativity to build sustainable packaging solutions that power possibilities. The company encourages a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunity, supporting a diverse workforce that brings innovative ideas to life for a global clientele.
