The role of a Theatre Manager at Regal Cinemas is both challenging and rewarding, designed for individuals who possess strong leadership skills and a passion for cinema and customer service. This full-time position involves overseeing daily operations of the theater, ensuring compliance with company policies, managing theatre staff, and maintaining high standards in guest relations and safety. The Theatre Manager will be responsible for administering all aspects of theatre administration including cash management, concession inventory control, and employee training and supervision. This leadership position requires a hands-on approach, including superhero teamwork with projection and AV systems, overseeing building maintenance, and risk management tasks.

Job Requirements
- Two years of post-secondary education in Business or two years management or supervisory experience
- working knowledge of Booth and Projection technology maintenance and programming
- legal age to sell and serve alcohol if applicable
- completion of required alcohol training and certification
- good public speaking and communication skills
- proficiency with PC and office programs
- leadership and supervisory experience
- ability to perform math calculations accurately
- problem solving skills
- experience with risk management and safety protocols
- ability to manage employee relations and training
- physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform mechanical tasks
Job Qualifications
- Two years of post-secondary education in Business or two years management or supervisory experience
- working knowledge of all systems within facility including Booth and Projection technology, maintenance, programming, TMS operation, and all related projection skills
- legal age to sell and serve alcohol if duties include alcohol service
- completion of required state or local training and certification for alcohol service
- completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training
- good public speaking skills
- effective communication in oral and written form
- ability to listen, respond clearly, and explain information
- ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
- problem identification and solution implementation skills
- proficiency with PC platforms and basic office programs
- ability to operate office equipment and maintain filing systems
- interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- leadership ability to set standards and train subordinate Management
- experience in supervising multiple employees and handling HR responsibilities
- ability to work under pressure
Job Duties
- Upholding and administering all Regal policies as outlined in Regal Policy Guide and Theatre Support Office directives
- ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- control concession inventory shortages and spoilage levels
- hiring, training, developing, supervising, counseling, scheduling, and after conferring with HR Business Partners terminating of any employee
- properly administering all applicable paperwork and upholding all company policies as they pertain to Human Resources
- ensure required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
- supervising all staff positions as required including projection and audio-visual equipment, film handling and maintenance, and Booth and Projection technology maintenance and programming
- controlling costs including direct operating expenses, purchasing, ordering stock and supplies, and inventory auditing
- supervising theatre maintenance, performing minor repairs and coordinating larger maintenance
- monitoring janitorial staff to ensure facility cleanliness
- monitoring risk management including safety, loss prevention, emergency situations, accident handling and reporting
- responsible for guest relations, marketing and promotions, scheduling show times, and reconciling all receipts
- reading and understanding training materials such as anti-harassment and discrimination
