The Guest Service Expert role at Aloft by Marriott Providence Downtown is an exciting, part-time, non-management position within the food and beverage department. This role is integral to delivering a seamless and enjoyable dining experience for hotel guests, ensuring that every interaction contributes to an overall memorable guest experience. The position demands proactive engagement from the Guest Service Experts, who must manage multiple customer service tasks including setting tables, communicating orders to the kitchen, serving food and drinks, and maintaining clean and organized work areas. This role is more than just a food server—it is about converting everyday transactions into meaningful moments that enhance the guest’s visit. The position requires physical activity such as standing, walking, and occasionally lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance. Attention to safety, adherence to company policies, and maintaining professional appearance and communication standards are all critical components of the role.
