Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in recreation or adaptive programming preferred
- ability to work part-time hours including evenings and weekends
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- good physical stamina for setup and teardown activities
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to undergo random drug screening
- familiarity with safety-sensitive position protocols

Job Duties
- Create implement and evaluate recreation programs with a focus on adaptive programming or special events
- research and recommend program offerings
- develop activity timelines
- schedule registration dates and related meetings
- maintain supply inventories
- prepare materials
- report equipment or facility concerns
- enter and maintain program information in recreation management software
- manage waitlists
- generate reports
- support volunteers vendors contract instructors and community partners during events
- serve as point of contact for recreation staff programs and facilities
- train and oversee seasonal staff
- address customer complaints and facility concerns
- oversee financial transactions and reconcile income reports
- oversee scheduling of programs and rentals
- assist with setup breakdown cleaning and safe operation of program areas facilities and event spaces
- support participant check-in registration program tracking and customer service duties
- monitor participants to ensure safety rule compliance and positive engagement
- uphold city policies safety guidelines customer service standards and departmental procedures
