The role of Pool Deck & Beach Guest Service Host/Hostess at Aulani plays a crucial part in upholding the resort's high standards of guest satisfaction and safety. Cast members in this position are tasked with maintaining poolside cabanas, ensuring the safety of guests around the pool and beach areas, and providing exceptional guest service across various pool locations. This role requires a proactive and friendly demeanor to welcome cabana guests, maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of all cabanas, and assist in managing the dive shop, slide dispatch, and pool gates. The host or hostess will serve as a key point of contact for guests, addressing their needs by providing information about the resort and its amenities, as well as local attractions.

The position demands strong observational skills and the ability to anticipate guest needs, ensuring the adherence to all safety regulations and resort policies. Working in this role involves frequent physical activity, including walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, kneeling, and using hands often, as well as enduring all kinds of weather conditions including extreme temperatures and high humidity. Energetic and responsible individuals with excellent communication skills are ideal for this role, especially those who are proficient in both English and Japanese languages.

The pay rate for this role is $29.10 per hour, and the employment type is full-time with availability required seven days a week, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
