Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in assisted living or customer service preferred
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift between 1-20 pounds occasionally
  • Visual acuity and good hearing
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency with typing and ten key adding machine
  • Ability to function as a team member
  • Good interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families, and public

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in assisted living or similar environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic clerical skills including typing and filing
  • Ability to work in a busy environment with interruptions
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle conflict resolution effectively

Job Duties

  • Provide information and referral to residents, visitors, staff, and prospective clients in a positive, service-oriented manner
  • Use excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Perform basic clerical tasks such as typing, filing, and light bookkeeping
  • Manage workload effectively in an environment with multiple interruptions
  • Interact pleasantly and professionally with elderly residents and their families
  • Maintain good interpersonal relations with all levels of staff and the public
  • Uphold universal precautions and safety protocols
