LinPepCo is a reputable independent distributor of Pepsi-Cola products with over 35 years of experience delivering exceptional soft drink and vending product distribution services in the Midwest. The company operates several soft drink franchises, a full-line vending service, a coffee service company, and a refrigeration division specializing in equipment service leasing. This position is based in Lincoln, NE, with work hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role primarily involves providing comprehensive customer service support while serving as a receptionist, along with reconciling and verifying sales invoices, deposits, and other accounting documents that originate from route drivers and sales operations. The job entails performing routine calculations, posting transactions, and verification tasks to gather crucial financial data for maintaining accurate records. The individual in this role will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial documentation related to sales routes and truck loads, contributing to the overall financial health and operational efficacy of the company.
Key responsibilities include handling all incoming calls professionally and routing them efficiently, reconciling route invoices with daily truck loads, and balancing all financial records generated by the distribution routes. The role involves matching deposits received from the Cash Specialist with the route reports, processing invoices, allowances, and scanning route documentation to guarantee the integrity of financial data. The incumbent will handle customer requests related to product purchases, manage daily mail collection and distribution, and sort payments by location for deposit preparation. Additional tasks include managing new hire uniform vouchers and payroll deduction forms, overseeing office supply inventory, maintaining postage and shipping processes, and updating customer information as necessary from bounced email reports. The role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and effective multitasking abilities.

Job Duties
- Answer and route incoming calls
- Reconcile route invoices and daily truck loads including balancing all financial instruments generated from the routes
- Match and enter deposits received from the Cash Specialist into route reports
- Process and enter invoices and corresponding allowances into the route accounting software
- Track and verify overages and shortages identified during route reconciliation
- Verify and scan all required route documentation
- Respond to customer requests for product purchases
