Job Requirements
- High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proficiency with computer and communication systems
- Strong attention to detail
- Capability to maintain organized workspace
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Willingness to support multiple staff members and handle various administrative tasks.
Job Qualifications

- Proficient with computer and technology software including phone systems
- Experience with standard office equipment

Job Duties
- Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and route incoming phone calls
- Take messages as needed
- Respond to general inquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Maintain the front desk area and lobby to ensure a tidy and organized appearance
- Assist with training student employees on front desk activities and customer service
- Support the setup and organization of Smartsheets for front desk tracking
- Organize and distribute incoming and outgoing Federal Express and USPS mail
- Assist with vendor show logistics
- Draft and maintain BIO5 resource materials such as operations manuals and emergency binders
- Support onboarding process for new front desk student employees
- Process and update membership applications
- Correspond with faculty regarding membership
- Coordinate monthly Membership Team meetings including scheduling and agenda management
- Manage accurate list of building occupants including Principal Investigators and Lab Managers
- Ensure the BIO5 Emergency Action Plan is up to date
- Assist with scheduling and setup of executive-level meetings
- Monitor BIO5 director's calendar for meetings
- Inform director or executive assistant of arrival guests
- Perform additional assigned duties as needed.
