The Weekend Receptionist role at Legend Senior Living is vital to maintaining the welcoming and professional atmosphere for which the company is known. This position requires an individual with a friendly demeanor, organizational skills, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include greeting visitors at the community entrance, answering and directing phone calls, and supporting the administrative team with clerical duties such as typing, faxing, copying, filing, emailing, and managing mailings and packages. Additionally, the Weekend Receptionist assists the sales team by scheduling tours, entering data, and maintaining inventory. Effective communication with both residents and staff is crucial in this role, helping to foster a positive and collaborative environment.
This part-time weekend position allows individuals to showcase their interpersonal and administrative skills while contributing to an award-winning organization that values the potential and growth of every employee. As part of their commitment to associates, Legend offers a range of benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance for eligible employees, life insurance coverage, voluntary benefits including hospital indemnity and disability insurance, a 401(k) program with company match, paid time off for full-time associates, holiday pay, and a scholarship program. Employees are also eligible for bonuses tied to referrals, employee awards, and resident move-ins. The company’s supportive work environment, emphasis on associate development, and family-friendly policies make it more than just a workplace — it aims to be a home away from home for its employees. Drug screening may be required and the position involves working evenings and weekends as needed.
