Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Two years of customer experience preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Ability to communicate courteously and clearly
  • Proficient in telephone etiquette and message taking
  • Able to assist guests with form completion
  • Willingness to promote a positive work environment
  • Commitment to safety and attending mandatory in-services
  • Capable of performing additional administrative duties as required

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Two years of customer experience preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Any combination of education training or experience in a hospital environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with hospital operations and procedures

Job Duties

  • Receives hospital guests ascertains needs and directs guests appropriately
  • Courteously answers the telephone and takes accurate messages
  • Answers routine questions regarding departmental policies operations and procedures
  • Directs guests to appropriate office or departmental area
  • Provides necessary forms to incoming guests and courteously assists guest with completion
  • Provides administrative support to the Intake Department
  • Promotes a positive working environment and guest relations
  • Provides administrative support as requested
  • Assumes and/or performs additional duties as requested
  • Promotes safety by attending mandatory in-services and complies with all safety measures initiated by the facility
  • Assists with Business Office data entry when needed
