Job Requirements

  • Availability to work a full-time schedule (40-hours a week), Wednesday - Friday (8:30am-9:00pm), and every other Saturday (8:30am-5:00pm)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to two years of progressively responsible experience
  • Previous experience handling large volume of incoming calls as a receptionist preferred
  • Must possess strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as GSuite

Job Duties

  • Greet members, vendors, couriers, job applicants and other visitors in a consistent, professional and friendly manner adhering to proper security protocol and logging activity
  • Answer phone calls in a timely and welcoming manner and courteously directs the call to the appropriate personnel or program
  • Abide by all HIPAA laws and maintains confidentiality for all clients and medical records
  • Ensure the headquarters lobby is constantly staffed during agreed business hours and maintained in a neat and orderly fashion
  • Manage schedules accurately for new appointments, check ins, and follow ups
  • Verify insurance, personal information and account balances, collects fees when required
  • Ensure that new charts are ready for use and packets are prepared for programs
  • Accurately enter information into the EMR (i.e.: financial information, assessment forms, billing, etc.)
