Uplift Mighty Preparatory is currently seeking a dedicated Receptionist to join their campus operations team in the 76119 area. This vital non-instructional role supports the campus's operational efficiency by managing the front desk and facilitating communication among families, staff, and scholars. The Receptionist plays a crucial part in delivering excellent customer service, serving as the welcoming face of the campus, and ensuring a safe and organized environment. Reporting directly to the campus Operations Director, the Receptionist will engage in various clerical duties and help uphold the campus's positive and supportive culture. This full-time position offers a starting pay of $16.75 per hour and is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people frequently and are committed to operational excellence. The successful candidate will maintain confidentiality, monitor visitor access, manage scholar sign-in/out processes, handle incoming phone calls, distribute mail, and stay informed about campus activities and enrollment policies. This role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced educational environment. Additionally, bilingual skills in Spanish are required to effectively communicate with the diverse school community. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum two years of experience as administrative assistant or customer service representative
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new applications
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Drive customer satisfaction for parents, teachers, and academic leaders in line with world class support mission
  • Ensure knowledge of all campus-based activities
  • Maintain knowledge of scholar enrollment requirements and deadlines
  • Monitor and ensure safety practices
  • Accurately sign in and out scholars
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Actively monitor front desk and answer incoming phone calls
  • Receive and route calls to appropriate staff
  • Take accurate messages and direct to appropriate staff
  • Answer questions from families, staff, and scholars
  • Ensure all guests sign-in, are verified and issued visitor passes
  • Sort and disperse mail
  • Maintain a positive image of the campus through interactions
  • Assist operations director in establishing a positive, support-focused culture on campus
