The Spa Receptionist role at Resorts World Las Vegas is a vital front-line position within the luxury spa and wellness department. The individual in this position is responsible for providing uncompromising levels of guest service with an upbeat and positive demeanor. This role requires a professional who excels at interacting with guests, anticipating their needs, and going above and beyond to enhance overall guest satisfaction. As the first point of contact for spa guests, the receptionist manages check-ins, schedules spa appointments, provides information on spa treatments and local attractions, and processes payments for services. They must maintain up-to-date knowledge of all spa products, features, and amenities to answer any guest inquiries confidently.

In addition to guest interaction, the Spa Receptionist ensures that the spa and fitness center areas remain clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. Team collaboration is also a key aspect, with receptionists regularly participating in training and staff meetings to stay aligned with the resort’s service standards. The role requires adherence to licensing and regulatory requirements, including position-specific licenses and Southern Nevada Health District Food Handlers Card compliance. Working in a high-paced luxury resort environment, the Spa Receptionist must be adaptable to varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ultimately, this role is essential to delivering a seamless and memorable spa experience that aligns with Resorts World Las Vegas’s reputation for luxury and exceptional guest care.

Job Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum six months of customer service experience
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Position required licenses, Southern Nevada Health District Food Handlers Card
  • Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to bend and reach
  • Ability to transport, push, pull, lift and maneuver items weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Eye/hand coordination
  • Ability to comply with policies and procedures, job description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (SDS) and other instructions

Job Qualifications

  • Interact with all guests in a luxury setting, using elegant language and behavior
  • Ability to multi-task, to engage with guests and also operate the spa booking system and phone lines
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Polished appearance and demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a standing position for over 50 percent of the scheduled shift
  • Attention to detail to ensure all information is confirmed for guest reservations
  • Knowledge of spa services and amenities to assist with any guest questions or requests

Job Duties

  • Welcome and interact with guests as they call, enter and exit the facility
  • Check-in guests and notify team members of guest arrival
  • Provide a luxury experience while engaging conversations with guests and team members
  • Provide basic knowledge of attractions and restaurants in the Las Vegas area and provided by Resorts World Las Vegas
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of facility products, features and amenities
  • Schedule all spa appointments and provide guest information on available products and services
  • Process payments for guest services ordered from the spa
  • Ensure all areas of the spa and fitness center are kept clean and well maintained
  • Attend and participate in support training and staff meetings
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned
