Chesapeake Health & Rehabilitation Center is currently seeking a part-time Receptionist to join their dedicated team. This role involves working every other weekend and weekdays as needed, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals seeking flexible part-time employment. The Receptionist plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and welcoming communication between visitors, patients, and staff at the facility. Among the varied responsibilities, the receptionist will greet and direct visitors, manage incoming phone calls, handle daily mail, maintain security protocols, update appointment calendars, and perform various clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
This position is essential in shaping the first impression for visitors and supporting the operational efficiency of the rehabilitation center. The successful candidate will have proven experience in similar roles, be proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, and exhibit professionalism and effective communication skills both in writing and verbally. Job Duties
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed
- Receive and sort daily mail, deliveries, couriers
- Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
- Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings/appointments
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
