The Receptionist role at Brookdale is an essential position that serves as the welcoming face for visitors and residents alike. Receptionists at Brookdale are responsible for greeting all visitors entering the community, answering questions, ensuring guest registration compliance, and directing phone calls to the appropriate residents and staff members. This position requires a warm and professional demeanor combined with strong communication and organizational skills. Receptionists also handle sorting, delivering, and collecting incoming and outgoing community and resident mail, as well as performing basic clerical duties such as maintaining visitor logs. Additionally, Receptionists may be called upon to manage resident emergencies by contacting relevant internal and external parties according to community-specific protocols.
