The Receptionist role at Carillon Senior Living is a key position that ensures the smooth operation of the community’s front desk and communication systems. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of six months office or clerical experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong telephone and communication skills
  • Ability to use various business machines and personal computers
  • Capacity to manage multiple routine tasks accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least six months office or clerical experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent telephone, oral, and written communication skills
  • Skilled in the use of business machines and personal computers
  • Ability to handle multiple routine tasks with accuracy and completeness

Job Duties

  • Answer and transfer all incoming calls courteously and professionally
  • Provide information, direction and assistance to residents, staff, guests and vendors
  • Manage front desk operations including greeting residents, visitors, and staff
  • Handle deliveries by accepting packages, logging receipt, and notifying recipients
  • Prepare maintenance work orders as requested
  • Utilize office equipment such as computers, copy machines, fax machines, calculators and postage machines
  • Maintain accurate records including payments, reservations, appointments, and cancellations
  • Ensure proper security of files, keys and equipment by opening and closing the reception desk appropriately
  • Attend training and education sessions as assigned
  • Support projects and assignments as needed
