Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a receptionist or customer service position
  • proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • friendly and professional demeanor
  • availability to work full time in Ypsilanti offices

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • previous experience in a reception or customer service role
  • proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors answering phones and directing calls
  • schedule and confirm patient appointments maintaining an organized appointment calendar
  • manage patient check-in and check-out processes verifying insurance and collecting payments
  • maintain accurate patient records entering data into electronic health record systems
  • handle patient inquiries and provide information about services and policies
  • coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations
  • perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and ordering office supplies
