As part of Ernest Health's nationally recognized network, this hospital delivers comprehensive care tailored specifically to patients recovering from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic surgeries, and other complex medical issues. With a compassionate team of certified rehabilitation nurses and licensed therapists, Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital provides intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapies, all designed to help patients regain their functional abilities and improve their quality of life.
Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital is committed to delivering care grounded in empathy and expertise, blending advanced rehabilitation practices with individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. The facility is accredited, reflecting its adherence to high standards of care and patient safety. It is a center where restoration of function and independence is the primary focus, supported by evidence-based therapies and a multidisciplinary team approach.
We are currently seeking a PRN Receptionist to join our team of passionate patient caregivers. This role is critical in maintaining smooth communication and administrative processes within the hospital setting. As a PRN Receptionist, you will be responsible for operating hospital telecommunication systems including telephones, pagers, radios, and the paging system to connect patients, visitors, staff, and patients' families effectively and professionally. Beyond communication, you will maintain records related to telecommunications such as long-distance phone calls, on-call employee contacts, and pages, integrating the hospital’s mission and guiding principles into your daily interactions.
Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital fosters a positive work environment through robust recognition, wellness, and retention programs that enhance the employee experience and celebrate accomplishments. Employees are encouraged to share their feedback and experiences through programs like "My Ernest Journey" and employee engagement surveys following the motto "You Spoke, We Listened." These initiatives ensure that staff voices are heard and contribute to continuous improvement of the workplace.
This role offers a competitive wage with a salary estimate set at $23.10 per hour, reflecting the candidate’s skills, experience, education, and overall contribution to the hospital. Alongside competitive pay, we provide comprehensive benefits designed to support employee health, wellness, and financial security. Our benefits include PPO and high deductible medical plan options, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, dental and vision coverage, 401K with employer matching, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability coverage. Furthermore, our wellness and work-life balance programs include an Employee Assistance Program, quarterly wellness challenges with incentives, and earned time off starting from the first day of employment.
Joining Stockton Regional Rehabilitation Hospital means becoming part of a supportive, mission-driven team focused on improving patients’ lives while nurturing a healthy, rewarding work environment. If you have a background in healthcare reception and a dedication to excellent communication and organizational skills, this PRN Receptionist opportunity provides an ideal platform for professional growth and meaningful contribution to patient care.
