Job Duties

  • Answer the telephone, screen, and direct calls
  • take and relay messages
  • provide information to callers
  • greet clients, their families, and visitors
  • notify appropriate parties of their appointment arrivals
  • respond to or direct queries from the public and consumers
  • maintain knowledge of staff movements
  • tidy and maintain waiting room
  • monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • post outgoing mail and distribute incoming mail
  • collect payments when indicated
  • collect incoming faxes and notify recipients
  • provide administrative support to all departments
  • provide and collect required surveys
  • support clinical and administrative departments with documentation and tasks
