Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One to two years experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
  • Ability to perform clerical, reception, scheduling, and financial account duties
  • Basic knowledge of medical office skills and procedures preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous training in general medical office skills preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required
  • One to two years experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred
  • Experience in cashier, billing, filing, reception, telephone, or computer operations

Job Duties

  • Perform clerical duties in an ambulatory care setting
  • Manage reception duties including greeting patients and answering phones
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently
  • Handle patient financial account functions such as billing and cashier tasks
  • Assist in coordinating primary healthcare services
  • Maintain accurate patient records and filing
